Mechanical Vent Valve
A mechanical exhaust valve relies on an internal spring or gravity mechanism to automatically open and release pressure when the internal cabinet pressure exceeds the set value, and closes automatically after pressure returns to normal. Its structure is simple and reliable.
Description
The mechanical exhaust valve adopts a purely mechanical design, requiring no external power supply or control signals. The opening pressure threshold is set by precisely calibrated spring preload. When the air pressure inside the energy storage cabinet rises abnormally due to battery thermal runaway or sudden ambient temperature increases, the valve core overcomes the spring force and opens rapidly to release high-pressure gas. After the internal and external pressure differential drops to a safe range, the valve core closes tightly under the spring reset force, ensuring the cabinet’s ingress protection rating. This valve features fast response, low failure rate, and minimal maintenance costs, making it suitable for energy storage applications with extremely high reliability requirements.
