Description
The Thimble-Type Pressure Relief Valve is an intelligent pressure management device specifically designed for industrial and commercial energy storage cabinets and battery Pack modules. Under normal operating conditions, the valve utilizes its precision thimble mechanism to provide micro-ventilation, automatically equalizing the pressure differential between the enclosure or module interior and the external environment. This effectively prevents enclosure deformation or seal failure caused by temperature fluctuations, altitude changes, or gas accumulation during charge/discharge cycles. In the event of extreme abnormalities such as battery thermal runaway, the internal sensing element responds rapidly, actively opening a large-flow burst venting channel at a preset pressure threshold. This instantly releases high-pressure and high-temperature internal gases, significantly mitigating the risk of fire or explosion, and providing reliable safety redundancy for the energy storage system.
