Internal-Locking Venting Explosion-Proof Valve
The internal-lock breathable explosion-proof valve adopts an internal threaded locking installation method, with the valve body embedded inside the PACK. It provides waterproof breathability and directional pressure relief in a compact structure.
Description
The internal-lock breathable explosion-proof valve is installed from the inside of the battery pack outward, passing through the PACK housing and secured by an internal nut or snap ring, with only the exhaust port exposed externally. This design conceals most of the valve body inside the PACK, effectively reducing the risk of external impact damage while enhancing overall aesthetic appeal. The valve integrates a waterproof breathable membrane (ePTFE) that balances internal and external pressure within the PACK, prevents condensation formation, and rapidly opens the explosion-proof bursting disc during cell thermal runaway to directionally release high-temperature and high-pressure gases, avoiding impact on adjacent cells. This valve is particularly suitable for commercial and industrial energy storage products with limited internal PACK space and high aesthetic requirements, and the internal-lock structure offers excellent anti-tampering performance.
